GRADUATES
St Theresa's Catholic Seminary counts among its past
pupils many outstanding personalities.
The late Archbishop Aggeh was a pupil here. So were Anthony
Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie, Archbishop Jatau, Bishop Sanusi,
Archbishop Job, Bishop Makozi, Bishop Adelakun, Bishop Fagun,
Archbishop Ekpu, Bishop Gbuji, Bishop Alonge, Late Archbisop
G. Ganaka, Bishop Aba, Bishop Aje, Bishop Daille of Liberia,
Bishop Tumi of Cameroon, Late Bishop Ajomo, Bishop Abba, Bishop
A. Martin
The
first Yoruba priests, the Late Monsignors Oni, Adewuyi and
Layode ( who were ordained in 1929) were also students here
and since then very many Nigerian priests have been educated
here. Of course, there were many who did not go on for the
priesthood and most of those achived positions of importance
in many different walks of life in Nigeria.
St
Theresa's Seminary has a proud past and we are confident that
the future will be bright also.
